Comment:I’m following up on feedback I left a few days ago. I still have yet to hear from a customer service representative. I purchased a new Kenmore refrigerator 9-10 months ago. It has stopped working. I’m told that I have to wait 3 weeks for a part for the refrigerator. I’m currently going to be without my 10 month old refrigerator for a whole month. This is very difficult on my income since I cannot have refrigerated food for my family. After talking to customer care, I feel that there has been no initiative in the company to resolve my financial and emotional hardship. This refrigerator has dozens upon dozens of reviews online showing other customers with the same problem (hence the backorder). I’m truly upset by Sears lack of empathy and lack of ownership for their customer’s experience. There is no concern for the human element of business. Thank you for getting back to me. However I’m afraid that your reply hasn’t helped me at all.
1) The part will not be delivered until October 7th. The service will be then too. I said this in the previous messages. The issue is that I am waiting for the part that is back ordered because this is a problem with my model of refrigerator. I will be without my fridge for nearly a month (just short of the lemon law). My fridge is only 9 months old.
2) I have no idea what washer you are talking about. This laundry program seems great. Do you do it for food too since I have to eat out so much since I don’t have a fridge and it’s expensive? Speaking of which, I started a blog to document my culinary learnings for other customers who are experiencing the same thing (I saw reviews online that this problem is common and your repairman told me so as well (correction- he called this model a piece of shit and told me to sell it)). Perhaps you can share my blog with other customers of this model? It’s searsmeals.wordpress.com. I’ve been sharing on on Twitter and Facebook but your social media department has yet to help me share it. Us customers could share ideas on how to eat at home while we wait for parts for new refrigerators that don’t work. Anyways, let me know about that ‘laundry program’ for my food situation.

Ugh! This diet is soon hard. I’ll admit I cheated last night and went out to eat. I really wanted a meal you know? But it’s getting so expensive. I have been thinking outside of the box of how to go about the Sears/Kenmore diet. I was wondering if astronauts had refrigerators in space? (If so the fridges probably aren’t Kenmore because that rocket wouldn’t launch) Well I did some research and you can buy astronaut food! So when I have my top ramen tonight, I found these online that don’t require a refrigerator! Is this cheating Sears?

My wife gets grouchy when she can’t have her ice cream (shhh! don’t tell her!). I’m sure she’ll be thrilled when I surprised her with these tasty delights.
I got these organic apples from my CSA. They are delicious! It’s been difficult to eat the lettuce in time without wilting but the Kenmore-Sears diet hasn’t let me down. This apple was delicious and ready in a jiffy! Although I am still kind of hungry.
For those of you with Celiac or gluten intolerance, I have a Kenmore sanctioned Vegan meal for you!

Ingredients:
1 partially eaten box of Gluten Free Honey Nut Rice Cereal
Step 1: Eat rice cereal out of box. The Kenmore Sears diet doesn’t allow for refrigerated food so no milk!
Thats it! I recommend a glass of water with it since it’s a bit dry.

This is is my 9 month old Kenmore 22.3 cu. ft. Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel. It’s so shiny! Unfortunately, it doesn’t work anymore. Some seal broke so now it’s just looks pretty. And oh boy doesn’t it shine! It matches perfectly with my Kenmore stove, microwave; and dishwasher.
I do need to eat food though and quite often food has to be refrigerated and not held in a shiny room temperature box so I called for repair. Originally they told me I would have to wait 2 weeks for someone to come fix it. I told them I would probably be tired of eating spaghetti by then. The nice lady put me on hold and said they could send someone today. The even nicer gentlemen came today and tried to fix it. He told me the part he needed wouldn’t come in until October 7th. That’s a lot of spaghetti! He told me that my lovely refrigerator was ‘a piece of shit’ and that I should sell it. How sad! It’s so pretty!
